Stone Hill Inn

My new husband and I eloped and had our honeymoon at Stone Hill. Todd and Kristie were kind and welcoming and reached out regularly to help us plan the details of our wedding before we arrived. They (along with Tony!) made sure the day was perfect and flowed smoothly and that we had everything we needed. The inn is completely gorgeous and so tranquil. Our room was beautiful and the fireplace and jacuzzi tub really elevated an already excellent experience. Breakfast was also always great, in my personal favorite room at the inn, and Todd and Kristie made sure I always had a delicious vegan option. The views are magical and I was genuinely sad to leave. We needed a quiet, cozy getaway, and Stone Hill Inn was the perfect choice once again. We had stayed here about five years ago and loved it so much that we decided to come back. We had forgotten how amazing it truly is until we returned. Christie and Todd are exceptional hosts who go above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail make the experience feel personal and special from start to finish. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax, unwind, and disconnect with your significant other, this is it. Everything from the rooms to the breakfast to the overall atmosphere makes it a perfect escape. We would absolutely go back again and highly recommend Stone Hill Inn to anyone looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway in Stowe.

Our stay at Stone Hill Inn last week was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The Inn was decorated so beautifully for fall- candles burning, pumpkins everywhere, lights, pillows- everything was so cozy and wonderful. We stayed in Fiddlehead and loved our room and private patio. The breakfast each morning is cooked to order and delicious. Todd and Kristie are the most wonderful hosts- we had such a great time getting to know them. We absolutely cannot wait to return to Stowe and will not stay anywhere else!

My husband and I stayed at Stonehill Inn while on vacation seeing the fall colors. To say that it is a five-star resort is an understatement! It is luxury meets, warm and cozy. Todd and Kristie made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Our room was perfection! The double sided fireplace was a nice touch for sure! The bathroom was a dream, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast was wonderful and that view…… we will be back!

This is a truly great place to stay. The property is beautiful and large, with walking trails and nice places to sit and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells. Our room was much bigger than it appeared to be in the pics on their website. Each one has a sliding door to the lawn and man-made waterfall in the back. The bed was a king with nice linens and great pillows - I pulled off the pillow case looking for a tag so I can buy them when I get home. No tag, so I bought one from the owner. Speaking of, they’re great. Todd and Kristie are laid back, friendly, just all around cool people. They manage to make you feel taken care of while also letting you enjoy yourself without feeling like you have a helicopter host watching your every move. Fresh, enormous cookies in the pantry, great complimentary, made-to-order breakfast. It was a great experience.

My husband and I chose this place to celebrate our 20th anniversary together. We were so impressed with how the owners made sure to make us feel right at home. The room was absolutely beautiful with a giant jetted tub and a double sided fireplace. We also saw some wildlife right in the driveway as we pulled in, a beautiful red fox jumped out in front of our car and ran up the driveway before disappearing back into the woods. But my favorite part was the breakfast they served us the next morning. Not only did the dining room have a stunning view, but the food was amazing! If you get the option for the ham and cheese egg scramble, you better get it, by far the BEST eggs I have ever tasted. They did a wonderful job and I most definitely will be staying there again. We couldn’t have found a better home away from home for our weekend in VT. Accommodations were luxurious and comfortable - with a jacuzzi, a fire place connected to the bathroom and bedroom, and homemade breakfasts that would rival the most spectacular restaurants. Todd & Kristie have curated a gorgeous landing place for anyone seeking rest, warmth and an experience of beauty.
